Xbox to Windows app streaming error

Hello everyone,

I have been having this problem for a while now and posted a discussion about this before but I think the paragraph got deleted so I was left with a blank post, therefore causing no one to answer because there is no question. I have also searched all over
the internet including youtube and the Xbox forums but found nothing.

I am signed in on the same account on both my Xbox one and my Xbox app. However, when I try to stream my Xbox to my windows 10 machine, it gives an error saying "To continue, sign in on your console using this account". I am connected to the Xbox and I can
use other features such as remote, volume, test streaming and it even shows what app or game I'm in. I have tried forgetting the console, resigning in, signing in on my Xbox then pc and vice versa, and changing my privacy settings. Nothing is helping. I even
tried to connect my Xbox to the internet with and without a LAN cable.

I used to be able to stream without a problem. It suddenly started to give this error.

We suggest that you re-install the Xbox app on your computer. Please follow the instructions below:



    1. Type Windows Powershell in the search box.



    2. Right-click on Windows Powershell and select Run as administrator.



    3. Copy and paste the following command.

         get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxApp* | remove-appxpackage 





*Your Xbox App will be deleted, you can download the and install the Xbox app from this link.

I have also had this problem. What I do to work around it and get it working again is hard reboot my Xbox one by holding the power button for about 15 seconds until it shuts off. Also reboot your computer. Once the console is all the way shut down wait a
minute and boot it back up as well as your computer. Once everything is back up and running try streaming again. Hope that helps.
