    I have many gta characters and I went to go migrate my main xbox character over to ps5 but its giving me my ps4 character . How do i change it from my pa4 character to my xbox character?

    Gta 5 - PS4 -> Xbox Series S

    You can't migrate to a different platform. You can only migrate your character from a PS4 to a PS5. If you played the game on the Xbox One, then you could have migrated your character to the Xbox Series S.

    you can't.

    The only (little) chance would be to contact Rockstar games and ask them.

    But since it's not even possible to use the XB1 saves in the XB series version I guess it's not possible at all.

    Firstly, I don't play GTAV so I may be wrong here (I just did a quick search) but, based on what is on the Xbox buy page, I would be surprised if you could go back to the old version:

    "Continue your journey on Xbox Series X|S and transfer both GTAV Story Mode progress and GTA Online characters and progression to Xbox Series X|S with a one-time migration."

    Found this on a 3rd party article:

    "Note that the profile migration cannot be undone or repeated. Moving your GTA profile from PS4 or Xbox One to a PS5 or Xbox Series X will remove any data from the PS4 or Xbox One."

    OKAY, ps5 is getting restocked and both use similar chips right. And xbox is lot more powerful than ps5.
