Xbox to LG SL8YG Sound Bar not sending signal to JVC 55" TV

Dear Community ,

I have an XBox One S and a new LG SL8YG sound bar, connected via HDMI with HDMI out to a JVC 55" TV. When I load a game that is loaded works ok. When I play a game that needs the DVD in works ok.

When I use the Netflix App or the DVD player then the sound works, but the screen is blank. The TV does not show "no signal", so I assume something is going through - just not the video signal expected. I read
an article that suggested to do a factory reset, I have done this. I have turned ATMOS on in the settings, the issue occured before and after I did this.

Does any body have any suggestions please, I don't want to use Optical as it does not support ATMOS

Thanks but not sure issue with TV, you would think then that it would not accept the game signal. Have tried rebooting multiple times to no success.

optical connection to xbox and then configuration through the outpout and audio,

Sorry to hear it. This may be an issue with the television itself but let's try powercycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down. In the meantime, if your sound bar can use an optical connection try using that.

I have a lg Dolby sound bar. It dose the same . I had to put the xbox directly into the hdmi in on the sound bar. But it knocks normal tv sound a bit of .

Have you downloaded the lg sound bar app . You can play about with the sync 🤔
