    That's a good point. I do plan on keeping my 360 even after I eventually get an X1. However, I wasn't planning on keeping it connected all the time after upgrading.

    Who still play on the Original Xbox one?

    A family member still plays all the time on the original xbox one, he has seen some issues in certain games and he does plan on upgrading eventually, but for now it still works great!

    Unfortunately at this time Microsoft hasn't announced any plans for a new family plan for the Xbox 360 console. The plan was discontinued for a new Gold family plan which was implemented on the Xbox One. At this time if you aren't planning on upgrading
    to the Xbox One, your best bet is to keep an eye out for special deals on Xbox Live Gold subscriptions. I would also monitor
    Xbox News to be up to date on the latest plans for the Xbox 360 console.

    Change Xbox Live account from Individual to Family

    You should be able to buy the family plan for the account you want to manage all the other accounts in the plan. Just try and upgrade it from your normal subscription to family.

    There should be an option on the account settings on xbox.
