    Control update time?

As Malacath says, you cannot control the updates when they are done automatically.

They are, however, done overnight, but there is absolutely no guarantee it will be between 1 and 6am.

    Control update time?

    No.

The only way is to use energy saving mode then refuse updates when prompted at unsuitable time.

You could request it at the xbox feedback website or check if someone else has requested it so you can vote on it. The website is feedback.xbox.com

    Xbox time control

    Hi James!

Thank you for bringing this up to our attention that the timer isn't being activated after setting up the schedule. Now on the Xbox the account signed in as the child is it the same one that the modifications are being made to?

It has happened were some modifications are made on the wrong account and that's why it doesn't show. If this isn't the case then, I would suggest to try this, so the timer shows when it's active on the Xbox.

    1
On your Xbox, press the Xbox X on a sphere Xbox logo
    button on the controller

    2
    Select System > Settings
    Gear-shaped Settings icon > Preferences > Notifications >
Xbox Notifications > System and make sure
    System notifications on
is selected. Screen time counts down when a child is signed in, so if they’re not actively using their console, have them sign out.

Go here for more information on how to
Set up screen time limits for your child.

    Xbox Controller Timed Length

    Hi Drakie,

It would be nice to have an adjustment on that "timeout" feature.

To get your idea submitted and get people to vote it, you can do that here -

yup seems lots more people had the same idea just no one is voting on them so will prob never get a fix for this but worth a try.

    Controller Disconnection

I indeed did update the controller, and it still disconnected time to time. And actually now that I think about it, both the controller that I just bought, and the controller that came with the xbox just recently started disconnecting time to time.

    Parent Controls Time

Hey there Kat thanks for keeping in touch,

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused but rest assured we are here to help. We suggest a reset of the console since
the problem might be on the actual OS of the console so we would suggest a >Soft
    Factory Reset
< (while keeping games and apps)
IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

    • There is a stable network connection.
    • The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup lets do manual setup. Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!
