    Xbox thinks a headset attached to controller permanently.


    Headset - Arctic Steelseries 9x.

    I have an Xbox Series X controller which now thinks a headset is always plugged in/attached. I tried turning it off and on, plugging and unplugging a headset and restarting the console, but it always says a headphone is attached, even in the Accessories app. This messes up some in-game chat settings of games which automatically change settings based on whether you have a headset plugged in or not.

    What else can I try to do to fix it?

    Indeed and it's odd that it is happening with multiple controllers as well.
