Xbox tells me I don’t own games yet I have game pass and own all games digitally

This has also been happening to me, but it mainly occurs with the games that I have physical copies of. None of the digital games I own on my console experience this issue.

It’s left all physical copies of my games that are also on gamepass unplayable telling me I don’t own the license to play them. nothing I’ve done has worked. have you found a solution?

Thanks for getting back to me, no it hasn’t resolved the issue I’ve tried all of the prompts and it’s still asking me to purchase even though I “own” the game.

is it because I don’t own the digital version maybe?

I don’t fancy deleting the game and reinstalling it to come to the same problem

As you don’t own the actual game digitally, you cannot play it on PC without game pass or another purchase.

This may mean we’re having trouble checking usage rights.

Can you remember if you own the game digitally or via disc game? If you own the game digitally please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/ordes, and check if you can see the game order from there stated as "completed".

Once confirmed, remove and re-add your account to re-sync the game license.

REMOVE ACCOUNT​​​

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

ADD ACCOUNT​​​

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new. ​​​

3. Enter the Email address and the password.​​​

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​​

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.​​​

It now says I don’t own it completely.
