    XBox Team: It's time for a new keyboard app. The current one is annoying.


    It's been many years since the XBox One launched yet we're still burdened with this "keyboard app" which pops up in every game, every post, every reply to messages when we want to communicate through text.

    This app is outdated for 2018.

    I offer the following suggestions to improve the app:

    -Please make the app much smaller, and allow us to position it onscreen where we'd like it (default to lower right)

    -Please add transparency to the app

    -Please provide an option to disable the visual keyboard

    -Please allow customized keywords to be stored (even a temporary session would be nice)

    Much of the UI has been changed over the years, but this keyboard app hasn't been one of them.

    It's time.

    When will Smartglass Keyboard work on Youtube?

    I found out for the first time that there is no option for the smartglass keyboard when trying to search in the Youtube app. This is very annoying and makes smartglass useless for this app. Why has this not been fixed as I have found out searching that
    many others have complained about this. The smartglass keyboard should be standard for every app when entering any information. I am very dissapointed. I use a Galaxy S3 with the Star Wars XBOX.

    Netflix Xbox One App does not show watch list

    The netflix app is not showing my list of movies that I have saved. All that it shows is major categories and genres. Also it is annoying to seach since it does not support having a keyboard connected to my Xbox One

    Xbox One streaming game on Windows 10

    You need to have Keyboard and mouse connected directly to the xbox for this. Currently there is no way to play through the xbox one app on windows using Keyboard and mouse connected to the PC.

    Currently It is not possible to play Overwatch with a mouse and keyboard on Xbox One. If you wish this title to support the mouse and keyboard feature on Xbox One, you should reach out to the developers as they will ultimately decide if they are going to
    support the feature or not.

    In the mean time, keep an eye out for news about this, as it may be added at some point.

    Hello Dorian, unfortunately currently there is no way to disable the on-screen keyboard for Xbox One console.

    However in the Windows 10 try to go Xbox App Navigate to Settings, then under the Xbox One tab there is a toggle switch at the bottom to disable the on-screen keyboard.

    Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist with the issue, it looks like you'd like to use your keyboard on the Xbox One to message your friends on rocket league. In regards to this I do have some great and amazing news!

    Keyboard and Mouse Support is coming to the Xbox One    . Warframe will be one of the first games to support this great feature. I hope this information was helpful in resolving the issue.
