Xbox System Update Error (Error Code 8B0500B6)

I have a stable network, but somehow it always shows me the message "There was a problem with the update". So I hard reset it (in which I have cleared all of my apps and games), and on the setup page, the system checks for an update again, and it shows me
that message again. The error code is 8B0500B6 (the server at the time works just fine), do you guys know how I can fix this? Thx.

Thank you for the resources, and I tried all of this method, and none of them seemed to work. I will try again tmr, and hopefully it will work then.

Thanks for the resources. This issue came up just today, when I tried to add a new account on my Xbox, what happened was that the page to add an acc keeps on glitching out, and I was not able to sign in since the sign in the box was never shown. So I read
articles online, and it suggested I resetting the Xbox, so I did it. After resetting, one of the things that it checks is updates, and in that section, I had this error code.

I can’t seem to find anything on the xbox support website regarding this issue, specifically with the error code you provided.

Same issue here. Been going on for the last few days,

Before this the Xbox was hcing issues connectin Xbox live. I had to go through test connection and test nat options befoore it would connect to xbox live. Every time the “Test Connection” option option would say i was connected.

Now, not even that does anything. Internter connection is fine on other devices. The Xbox is wired to the router, and I’m getting close to 100MBps when testing from PC wired to the router as well.

Eveyrtime I turn it on, I get that error.

I'm a little confused about this issue. LikeRainingRoses already mentioned, there isn't a Support page for that error code.

When exactly does this error code come up? Does it start downloading the update and eventually come up?

Also are you in the Insider program?
