Xbox Syncing on every start up normal?

It’s making sure that your cloud save is the same as your local one, you can hit cancel, but it’s not something that you can turn off

Here is what usually happens: I start the game like normal, and before the start menu comes up, a message pops up that says "Syncing Data". Then it takes about 15 minutes to reach around 30% sync, then it gives a message that says "We couldn't sync your
data with the cloud just now. Try again or play offline". Very rarely does it ever go over 30% sync, but it never reaches 100%.

Start up game and while its syncing sign out ur xbox profile then it should put you on a diffent screen while its still syncing the cancel sync and press play and it should let you play normally

First of all, congratulations on your purchase, Series X is an awesome console.

I did hear it. And yes, I believe it's normal, and it's the disk reader, actually. If it were the fans, you would also hear them spinning. And I do have a Series X too, and mine does the exact same thing. So, rest assure, it's normal.

That's a bit reassuring, as some people tell me to return it.

It's very confusing getting these mixed signals.
