Xbox support for 75hz monitors

Its all good and what not to be able to increase the frame rate on a console but it's doesn't help that there are only 2 settings available so you either get the upgrade of 120hz or you are stuck on 60hz. What about people who own displays that run in between those framerates. I for instance own a 75hz monitor and have researched and tried ways of getting the most out of my monitors refresh rate but nothing I have done has made a difference. I have even tried enabling VRR but its caps at 60hz and it makes games look even worse. Microsoft should just allow the 75hz upgrade. It's shouldn't be hard to do considering that they are able to reach 120hz

There is no 75fps

It's 30 60 and 120fps

You may have 75hz but that doesn't really affect frame rates

They are also set

They can increase or decrease depending on performance

Games are set to 60-120 or even 30fps

Same with 144hz you may have 144hz butthat doesn't mean it will.give you 144fps

Yes as I mentioned the fps maybe locked but it can decrease based on performance

If you drop from 120fps to 75fps you are doing something wrong

A minor drop isn't unreasonable

Games are standardized or did you just not see the fps booster?

Pc games don't have set standard fps

Also.becausd you have different hardware and you could be running a video editor in the background

technically you can have 75hz, 80hz or any in that fact, they can add that support in, you can have any fps in the majority of games unless the dev has locked it to a specific framerate. most games on PC can have any framerate. i play the majority of my games at 138fps on a 144hz screen.

This monitor is designed for use with computers, and uses a nonstandard refresh rates. Xbox doesn’t support 75hz and at this cheap, the monitor likely doesn’t support any others.

A display port can't be used since the xbox one x only has a hdmi out

They can connect it the screen via HDMI as HDMI is one of the outputs on this screen.

However, you won't get 75Hz, the reason being that firstly the Xbox doesn't support 75Hz and two, there are no Xbox One games that run at 75 FPS. You'll get 60Hz instead.

If you're after Freesync it's a good idea to check out the manual for the monitor before parting with your money. You can find most manuals for monitors on the manufacturers websites. The crucial things you're looking for firstly is if FreeSync over HDMI
2.0 is supported, and secondly, what resolutions Freesync is available for use on the monitor. Not all monitors will support Freesync at 1440P or 4K resolutions.

I would suggest checking YouTube for monitor reviews regarding Xbox One usage. That way, you won't buy the wrong type of display.
