Xbox support does not exist.

I recently ran into a problem where I purchased the wrong Xbox game pass as a gift to a friend. While trying to search for support to refund the purchase so I may make the correct purchase, I am thrown into a loop of pointless links. I went to the “Contact Us” page and put in all of the necessary details and at the end I of the support prompt I didn’t even get the AI chat as a support option. I tried rephrasing, using different support prompts, and even contacting Microsoft store support (since it was the only place with any contact information). Every call lasted 15 seconds and was answered by a bot telling me to go to “help.Microsoft.com”.

I went to the site and it’s just takes me to a “support” page with a bunch of suggested forum posts. Even after digging through the forums I still come up empty. Everything points to using the AI chat to get in contact with support; however, after pressing the “call me back” option it tells me to log in. Naturally I click login and and oh surprise surprise. A blank page. So please Xbox, Microsoft, and anyone else who can answer this please explain to me and everyone else why you make it literally impossible to receive support? Everything I an endless loop until you get to the AI chat and that just takes you to a dead end. Oh and before you ask… yes I was signed in to this very account on the support page right before it opened up the AI chat, but for some reason it still wants me to login.

Not only all of this but I was also trying to find some sort of support because when I was trying to gift that same friend the correct version of Gamepass (ultimate), after putting all of the information in, it got stuck on an infinite loading screen. So please:

1) How do you get REAL support? if that even exists anymore

2) How do I solve the infinite loading screen for buying gamepass ultimate as a gift?

I tried asking for a specialist and it again came up with the check recent purchases list and the AI chat

.So I just went through everything and from my understanding if you need live support when you fill out the contact us page you need to ask for a specialist, because if live support doesn't come up the community gamers will connect you with a live Microsoft agent and that should do it for that and about the loop you ask support about that and you should get more info or a solution, have a good day or night ✨

Hi Requiem! Sorry to hear about what happened. This is clearly not the situation I want you to be in. I would feel the same way if I were on your situation. I'll do my best to help here.

For the infinite loading screen issue, please try to use a different device, internet browser, and/or network source/connection.

If you still want to request a refund for the incorrect purchase, please fill out the refund form here https://support.xbox.com/forms/request-a-refund. You will have to provide the order number of your subscription by getting it from https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders.

For contacting Xbox Support, try my suggestion below:

Go to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us > click Contact us > choose Subscription & billing > choose I don't recognize a charge > describe the issue > click Next > See contact options > choose Chat online. That should work.

Yes, call the number and explain to them exactly what it's telling you when you try to finish the form.
