    XBox Subscription code accepted but not working in games


    I renewed my 12 month x box gold subscription this morning with a prepaid 1 year code. This code was accepted and shows on my account as being paid up to November 2018. When I try to use the games that need on line functions they do not work and ask me to
    subscribe. Do I need to do anything else to get back up and running playing games on line with my friends?

    Xbox Live not working after pre paid card accepted

    so my subscription for gold on Xbox one had ended I picked up a 3 month subscription pre paid card to enter. When I entered the code my Xbox had accepted it then offered me “1 month free Gold with auto-renew” and I clicked ON thinking I had funds left on
    a pre-paid MasterCard attached to my account. Once accepted I go to play a game and nothing works. So I look online for help and figured it was the auto-renew function messing up as I didn’t have enough funds on the MasterCard (prepaid) and figured I should
    turn off auto-renew and it will work. Well I did that and Live is not working for any game. It says online and on my xbox that I have a 3 month subscription to Gold but it is not working! Help!! XBox Subscription code accepted but not working in games :(

    Hey there!

    onyx62is is right in terms of trial memberships not showing up under your profile. Xbox Live Gold trials do not give full Gold access, which is why you wouldn't see your profile as having a Gold subscription. Really sorry to hear you were having issues accessing
    NHL, were you possibly able test playing online with a different game?

    Unfortunately by now the 2-day trial would have ended, but if you have another on your account let us know!

    Same here. I redeemed a 14-day trial xbox live code (the one I got with my day one edition). The code was accepted, but nowhere to find in my subscriptions. Hence my FUT15 online experience doesn't work.

    Yes. Microsoft stated that retail codes will still be accepted and anyone who still has the 12-month subscription will continue the 12-month subscription.

    Hi Salmoro,

    The game code was purchased and used to buy the game from Gamepass. It accepted the code and all was well until my Subscription ended. From then on, I do not own the game even though it has been purchased.

    The game code was purchased by my son and redeemed on our account. There was no other account involved.

    I have tried Xbox Support but fails to connect for a call back.

    Well your issue is completely different

    With 14day trials you don't change your status to gold

    You only get temporary access to nonranked matches usually only for the game you purchased it with

    If you are trying to use it with destiny its a no as destiny is all ranked and you need a paid subscription for it

    Then check non rankedmatches
