Xbox stuck in weird boot screen with a controller flashing home button

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues with your console.

Do you have any external storage units plugged into your console? if you do, please turn your console off, unplug your external storage, and turn your console back on. If that doesn't work, please give this a try:

• Troubleshoot menu factory reset

- Turn your console off and unplug it for 30 seconds.

- Plug your console back into the outlet.

- While the console is off, press and hold the BIND and EJECT buttons.

- Without letting go of them, press the power button once (do not hold).

- Continue holding BIND and EJECT for 15 seconds.

Once the troubleshooting menu comes up, select "Reset this Xbox" > "Keep games and apps".

* The BIND button is the one used to link controllers to your console and the EJECT button is the one used to eject disc-based games.

** If you have an Xbox One S All-digital edition or an Xbox Series S, please follow the instructions above holding only the BIND button.

*** Just keep in mind you will need an internet connection and your account details (email and password) to complete the set-up process.

Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. If your console has been constantly connected to the internet and Xbox Live services, your saved data should be backed up on the cloud.

That didn't work for me the home button on the screen is flashing but the controller is sync

nothing happened. Tried a Cold boot, power cycle, USB to controller, another controller. Any tips> It's stuck on the screen where you got to set up the controller. by hitting middle button then A all that,

The power button on my Xbox started flashing when it got to the startup screen after that the screen turned black and it booted up normally

I have the same issue, I tried to get on this morning, boot animation comes on, welcome screen, then black. If I hold down the xbox button on my controller, it will let me log off. Just no home screen.
