XBOX stuck at preparing

I have the XBOX game pass and last week everything worked fine. I went to install a game tonight using the XBOX app and it get's stuck at preparing 0%. Then after a few minutes it gives an error.

There is a green bar at the top of the screen that states "Having trouble installing or launching games? Fix it now" When I click on the link it gives these instructions:

Select the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen, and then select Settings.

Select Update & Security > Check for updates.

Select View optional updates, and then select update KB5004476 from the list.KB5004476

Select Download and install.

Once the update is complete, restart your device.

You should now be able to install, update, and launch games.

I followed the instructions but KB5004476 is not in the list. I there was only one item in the list and I installed it. I have tried resetting the cache, restarting, etc. But nothing seems to work.

How do I fix this?

I still get the same issue, and the above steps do not work any more

i don´t know why, but it works

i use Windows 11 - not updated, clean-install last weekend

See if these steps resolve this, please.

1.Press Windows Key + i and go to apps, search for ''gaming services'' click ''advanced options'' and then ''terminate, repair and reset. Try installing the game again.

2. If the problem persists>

Launch PowerShell as an administrator and enter

“get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers”

Restart your PC, open PowerShell as admin again, and enter

“start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN”

The Microsoft Store will open and ask to install Gaming Services, install. Then try installing any game again.
