Xbox Streaming

Hi Guys please can someone help me with a streaming issue i have. i used to be able to stream from my Xbox to my laptop. then about a week ago it just stopped. no updates on my laptop or any change of anything on either the laptop of console. I've no idea
why it stopped the app from connecting to my laptop .

It asks my to put in my IP address and when i do it says that no Xbox exists with that IP address despite my Xbox telling me that tha'ts my IP address.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions on how to get it to connect, I've tried all the usual resets and forgetting the networks but no joy???

Game DVR Xbox App

Sorry, but it is not currently possible to upload console-streamed game videos. When you record a streamed game, the GameDVR video is associated with the Xbox app, not with the streamed game (because the recording feature doesn't know you are streaming or
what you are streaming). Consequently it cannot be uploaded (Xbox Live knows that the Xbox app is not a game).

 

XBOX 360 and Game Streaming

Are you trying to stream a game from Xbox 360 to Windows 10? That's not supported - the media center of old was for streaming videos and songs.

There is a way to stream Xbox 360 games to Windows 10, but it involved using an Xbox One and playing the backwards compatible Xbox 360 on the Xbox 360, then streaming the Xbox One to Windows 10.

I had the same issue a month or so ago, although I was using a desktop not a laptop. What I did was first Factory Reset my console
while keeping Games and Apps. After getting it back to home simply head over to our Game Streaming page and set it up again. Let us know
if this works for you.
