Xbox streaming - sign in on console - help

Hi BamBam, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You can use your HP Laptop as a screen through console streaming. You can use the Xbox App or Xbox Console Companion to do so.

1. Xbox console: Game streaming must be enabled in Settings.

2. Windows PC/Laptop: You must be signed in to the Xbox Console Companion app with the same Gamertag as on the Xbox console.

3. Network connectivity: The Windows 10 PC/Laptop and the Xbox console must be on the same home network.

Did you make sure you have allowed streaming in the Xbox One settings? If you already did in the past, maybe a recent system update has reset these settings without your knowledge?

Check in the console settings under "System> Settings> Prefefences> Xbox app connectivity" that you have selected "Allow game streaming to other devices", and under "Other Devices" "Only from profiles signed in on this Xbox".

Make sure that you are signed in on your Windows 10 PC with the same Microsoft Account email as on your Xbox One.

First off, Smartglass is no longer supported. You have the Xbox Console Companion, and the Xbox app on PC. To stream to your PC, you will first need to turn on game streaming in Devices & connections Remote features in the Settings. Once you have done
that, start the Xbox console companion, then make sure you are on the same network as the Xbox, sign in with the same Xbox account that is on the console, and select the connection icon on the left of the app, and then select the console that is connected,
and select stream. You should now be streaming your console to your PC.

There are requirements so we can start game streaming from Xbox to our PC. First, on Xbox One console the game streaming must be enabled in Settings and the accounts signed in both on Xbox and Xbox console Companion must be the same.

If you haven't managed the settings yet, we really need a Monitor that supports HDMI for you to connect your console from there then manage it or a TV.

The provided solution in the link is to sign in my XB1 with the same account I signed in my Win10 PC, and I had already done that.
