    hello, i was checking out the xbox streaming app on my tablet when i come across the fact that i can stream on my pc. i streamed the xbox to my pc but the xbox turned on when i started to steam. is there any way that i can stream my xbox to my pc without the xbox being on like you would when using the xbox app on my tablet.

    I agree with you, pass through should work without the Xbox being on, or at the very least in a standby mode.

    Alternatively it would be good if the Xbox automatically came on when the pass through device was switched on

    Is leaving your Xbox one on while watching TV bad for the console?

    The way I look at it is you don't sit their constantly worrying about your tv being on or in standby mode because that's how its designed to work same goes for xbox one.

    For a bedroom your biggest issue is that the Xbox One has an audible electric appliance whir when in standby mode. Not an issue at all when in an entertainment center but I could see it being a bother in a bedroom.

    Has to be the Gamepass and also being able to play the Xbox one on PC via the Xbox app for Streaming
