Xbox streaming games keep disconnecting

that can all be down to the distance from the router, what other devices are using wireless in the home, thickness of the walls and the materials the walls are made from. can be affected by external sources too.

i live opposite a secondary school and they have 7 huge wifi networks, we can't use wifi here very well as their signals swamp the available channels, out of all the channels available we can use 4 and they are swamped by all the neighbours wireless signals.

wired would be best. if that is not an option then get a wireless repeater/extender for the room where the xbox is.

It's when playing games on WiFi connection. Does not happen when we connect with cable

live stereaming, can you give more info, streaming xbox to pc or phone etc or just playing online. are you using wifi or wired connections

ive got same issue, streamed perfectly fine before and now it keeps disconnecting yet all my other internet and network related things work fine, just xbox app streaming issue now after update
