xbox streaming bandwidth issue

i play my xbox on my pc almost 100% of the time. it use to work great till i got this xbox one s. every time i stream i have a bandwidth of 5 to 9 mbps. i have in my home 100 mbps down and 10 up. i shouldn't have studdering and
tiling. i am connected to both of them by brand new cables within 4 feet of the router. nat is open. speed tests tell me i have well over 100 mbps. what is going on here i am starting to get frustrated.

Low bandwidth users lose out!

By design, Microsoft set the bar at broadband for gaming. Streaming video is far more bandwidth hungry than gaming.

No bandwidth, no video. Not a Microsoft issue.

Sling TV & Redzone

For some reason streaming media has never been a pleasant experience for me on the XBO (on XBO S as well) - tried streaming ESPN & NFL app yesterday, stutter/buffer (and I have about 600 down and 800 up, so no issue w/ bandwidth) on a wired network.

If I switch over to iphone/ipad, chromecast, streaming is flawless.

i did not change any thing with my computer i was playing fine until it just started getting bad.

i did not try to un install and re install ill try that and report back

i did something on the support page that took me step by step

Again, as I said in my original post: the streaming works fine under initial circumstances. So it cannot be a bandwidth or routing issue. The issue is only when you disconnect from the stream and reconnect, using the Xbox app.

I'm going to assume it's a bug in the Xbox app which doesn't seem able to reconnect to existing streams properly.
