Xbox Streaming App Won't Go Into Setup On Android. Please Help. Just Shows This With No...

I have a Vodafone Smart 6 but the apps dont show up in the Google Play store.

As far as I can tell, the Vodaphone Smart 6 is a budget Smartphone from around 2015. The system specs shows that it runs Android Version 5 (Lollipop) . The minimum version for Xbox Streaming is version 6 (Marshmallow).

Unfortunately it maybe the case that your old phone can't be updated to Android 6, which would explain why these apps do not show on your Play Store. Side-loading won't be an option either. You need a more up-to-date handset.

Maybe I was misunderstood.

I mean, I want to launch game on Xbox in my local network and cast it to TV Box. Like it work with Steam Link, and Remote play on Sony.

Also, there are 2 apps for android:

Xbox Game Streaming (Preview) (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.xcloud)

Xbox beta (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.xboxone.smartglass.beta)

They allow to stream game from console to android tablet or phone, but they are not compatible with Android TV, that is little confusing. Maybe there is any way to make it work?

Btw, Wifi - 5Ghz, signal quality is ok

I also tested steam link on my android box - it works fine. So, I think this box has enough computing power to accept video stream and show it on TV

Streaming on the console companion on PC is not supported on the Xbox series consoles. Only Xbox One.

The only platform that you can currently stream from is iOS and Android, using the Xbox app.

Why won't someone respond to this problem. Is it too much to ask to expect Atmos on Xbox One S to play on all 11.1 speakers from streaming apps just like movies do in the blu-ray app?

For kicks, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Dolby app. It didn't help. Please help!

Search on APK Mirror for the last version of streaming app. At this time there are 5 versions but ONLY LAST ONE can be installed and configured on Android TV boxes, due to a bug that dont show Microsoft login page on landscape mode. Most of Android boxes
dont have a rotation mod function, they are all in landscape mode. And because that bug, Microsoft login page dont appear in landscape. That was corrected in last relesed version off streaming app. Now can be installed on any Android 6 or more.
