    Hallo zusammen,

    wie bereits im Betreff genannt möchte ich gerne auf meinem Laptop Xbox Spiele spielen können. Dafür habe ich mir auch schon die neuste Version der Xbox App heruntergeladen und installiert.

    Wenn ich die Xbox einschalte und mich am Fernseher auf ihr anmelde, kann ich auch den Stream starten und alles funktioniert einwandfrei.

    Nun zu meinem Problem:

    Wenn ich die Xbox über die App einschalte, werde ich laut App direkt mit Ihr verbunden. Wenn ich allerdings den Stream starten möchte kommt jedes mal eine Fehlermeldung die besagt, dass ich mich auf der Xbox einloggen muss.

    Laut Support müsste dies automatisch passieren, allerdings scheint dies bei mir nicht zu funktionieren.

    Ich kann also über die App meine Xbox steuern, aber leider nicht sehen, was ich tue. Im Moment könnte man das damit vergleichen, wie wenn ich mich mit meinem Controller vor die Xbox setze, sie einschalte und mich ohne Fernseher oder anderes Anzeigegerät
    blind anmelden muss, um den Fernseher einschalten zu können.

    In meinen Augen macht das so überhaupt keinen Sinn, weil ich die Xbox ja bereits steuern kann "ohne mich Authentifiziert zu haben". Damit macht die Sicherheitsabfrage an der Stelle mit dem start des Streams überhaupt keinen Sinn.

    Meine derzeitige Lösung besteht darin mir einzuprägen, welche Tasten ich auf dem Controller der reihe nach drücken muss, um mich auf der Xbox anmelden blind anmelden zu können (Das ist äußerst umständlich und aufwendig...). Danach muss ich die Verbindung
    zur Xbox trennen und wieder aufbauen. Erst dann bin ich dazu in der Lage den Stream zu starten.

    Über Hilfe würde ich mich sehr freuen. Vielen Dank schon einmal im voraus.

    Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with streaming to pc from the Xbox One.

    Unfortunately, in order to have the profile log in instantly, you will need to change some settings on the profile. Check out this article:

    Change your sign-in preferences on your Xbox One console    . Although, anyone that turns on the console will automatically sign into your profile.

    I would recommend to try launching game streaming from the Connection panel. Check out this article:

    Try this out and let us know the results.

    Thank you so much for the quick help. Unfortunately, the Xbox is not only used by me but also by other flatmates and I don't want everyone to have access to my profile.
    Temporarily, I've used a rarely used profile for this purpose, but this is actually just a workaround and not a real solution to the problem. The Xbox even indicates that I'm starting the stream with my profile. This means it actually detects that I am
    logged in, but it still doesn't work.
    If you aren't either logged in on the console before you start streaming or are not set to auto sign in upon booting up, this streaming won't work.

    You need to be signed in when you try to stream.

    Is that really intentional? That's totally insecure. As soon as someone is in the network he can mess around on the Xbox. It must be possible to make the whole thing more secure.

    Since you got the error about saying you must sign in on the console first, please turn on the console and enable the option to log in automatically without having to enter a password:

    Select Settings. Select All Settings. Under Account, select Sign-in, security & passkey. Under Sign-in, security & passkey, select Change my sign-in & security preferences. Choose one of the options: "No barriers" is no password.

    If you have a passkey you may also have to disable that:

    Then this should work fine on your PC with streaming without having to have you log in each time on the console.

    And since you have other people that may use the console, I don't know what to suggest other than what you were doing with the memorizing the buttons to login.
