Xbox store not working

I got a new xbox only a few days ago and I’m currently using a two week trial of xbox live. The xbox store worked for the first night but now not at all. It keeps saying error: 0x80070005

I can’t search for anything, download, enter a code. I don’t know what to do! Help!

My “store app” is updating, but has never made any progress. This means that I cannot purchase anything on my Xbox at all. Send help b0ss

Hi there,

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

Also try if the store works via xbox.com or the Xbox App.

If it's not working on any device then be sure to double check account.microsoft.com for any payment option issues or subscription issues, after that try the store again.

I had to do a factory reset to fix the same problem

Forgot to mention that I have reset and hard reset the console multiple times and the store still wont work.

They sure do take their time fixing issues. I think this is also causing issue with game sharing...

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.
