Xbox store game trailers not playing all the way through

This has been an issue for years, I am flabbergasted that it hasn’t been fixed yet. I am hard wired with 500 down and my internet is reliable. I have restarted my system and router and of course that doesn’t fix the issue, why can we not view the full game trailers in Microsoft store??? Every single trailer I try to preview pauses shortly into the trailer. Has there not been any kind of work around found for this issue or do we just have to go to YouTube on our phone or something to watch game trailers now? Microsoft might as well remove the option to even watch them on their store cause it’s a joke

Hey Kyle, sorry you're dealing with this! That sounds really frustrating, especially when you’ve done everything right on your end, from having a solid connection to restarting your setup.

I’d really encourage you to share this directly with the Xbox team through the feedback option on your console or the Xbox Feedback Hub. The more reports they get, the more attention it with get from the devs.

I have to agreed the auto-play trailers affects uploading of the store big time, if some way it can be improved I think it can be better for all the users out there

I have the same issue after updating to 10.0.19041.2494 on Xbox One S

Game trailers used to play automatically when entering the game page in the store. The trailer never plays though. Even when clicking the actual trailer video at the bottom of
the game page, it shows “Error: unsupported video type or invalid file path”.

Yeah, but it will only play one trailer there. There are many games with multiple trailers, and it will only autoplay one trailer on that top screen. The rest of the trailers are at the bottom of the game's page, and will only play in that tiny box with
no way to maximize it to fullscreen.

I'm afraid that requires using the console which is exactly what I am trying to avoid since it is an old elite and barely works. I don't want the death of the console to be from watching trailers instead of actually playing the games the trailers are for.

Even if that was a way that would work for me I have no clue how to just push play and have all the trailers play. I tend to have multiple trailers download and watch them at once, at least on a PS3. If you go to xbox.com you can view movie trailers online,
so why not game trailers? Streaming would be fine but downloads would allow for playing all at once. If there is no way to currently do this I would hope that someone would take notice and implement some kind of change. Needing to watch game trailers on my
PS3 doesn't really inspire me to buy the actual game for the 360...
