xbox store changing prices

happens, unfortunately prices change drastically to often. I dont ever recall this type of price flucuations in the prior 13 to 15 yrs. A sale on the matchbox expansion had 5 days left half off I was contemplating getting it ...
next day back to 19.99 ended it 4 days before the sale was supposed end as far as their customers knew. Are these changes caused by the introduction of AI deciding by using computer algorithms to be head of pricing & sales management ????? When it reaches
the preset goal of sales totals , does the AI remove the previous advertised length of each sale.Ask Mr. Allen Iverson he's the manger of sales. ahahah Allen didn't write or have any input on making the algorithm. He just needs a job ..AI is broke. HA! Gotem

The prices on the Xbox store are largely decided by the publishers, not Microsoft, who typically leave them at MSRP as long as possible. Retail stores only have to cover their cost so they have more room to change their prices.

Maybe your store hasn't done the price changes, normally price changes are across the board but i could be wrong

not sure how they are affected in the uk, as the stores on the highstreet use to have to honour wrong prices advertised in store, but the regulators in this country changed the rules and the stores did not have to honour them, once the store was notifies
of the mistake they had 24hrs to change it to the correct price, i wonder if this applies to online stores also.

I often trade in at HMV as they give the best trade in prices in my opinion. The prices on the APP are the prices they will give you in the store (well they are in my local store)- however as suggested above, check the price on the day that you are going
to trade and not a few days in advance as the prices will change.
