why does everyone else seem to be ok with this? why did i buy it? if i had a disk i could play it anywhere but the whole selling point of digital copies was to play then anywhere. What the conversion between a microsoft product to another microsoft product is so different you have to buy it twice? and i would have to download a copy where ever i went.. People who answered why are you ok with this? you probably found out by being [mod removed] over too? why would you know this and not be on a playstaion right now? best case senerio they thought; "everyone that buys Xbox is so stupid i bet we can force everyone to have digital copies and market them as being able to play anywhere, Then we add a play anywere button. and lock people out of their games till they pay for game pass."

Discs would not be Play Anywhere. They would be locked to the console so you would still have to buy a separate copy if you want to play on PC. Whether or not a game is Play Anywhere is also not entirely up to Microsoft. It's up to the publishers/developers of the games. Playstation doesn't have a Play Anywhere option at all so if you buy a game there and then want to play it on PC, you'd still have to buy it again.
