Xbox storage/installation issue!!

Hi I’ve been trying to install my games onto my 2 tb hard drive from my series s. and it keeps saying that i don’t have enough storage when it clearly does!! for instance, i tried installing fortnite and it says i need 45.5 gb and i clicked “free up space” to see what to move around and it only needs 25.5 gb??? the error code says (0x80070070). i’ve called xbox support numerous times to have them help me out and long story short, i had to hard reset my xbox and it worked the first time but the next time i went to install another game, the same problem happened. i don’t want to keep hard resetting my xbox to install ONE game at a time!!

My name is Ezequiel I'm an Independent Consultant. It really is a very strange problem, I suggest you install the game on the external HD instead of transferring it. I'm asking you to do this just for testing to see if the same kind of error will happen.

Are all the games installed on the Xbox internal storage? Or some are on internal storage and others on external storage?

Can you test games on other drive/storage to see if the issue happens with them too?

The issue is on the x box one.

I have an external hard drive and xbox storage card installed.

I tried moving the game and content from the xbox storage card to internal storage.

Issue only appears on the demon slayer game.

No other fixes tried.

Hello,

If you are having problems while the install disc in installing:

Delete any GTA V install data that is on the Xbox 360 storage device

Clear the Xbox 360 Cache: System Settings->Storage->Highlight Storage Device and Press Y->Choose Clear Cache->Confirm

Re-attempt the installation.

If you are still experiencing the error, please try installing to a different memory device.

If the problem persists for all memory devices, please try the disc in another console to confirm whether the disc or the console is the issue.
