Xbox stopped recognizing Ubisoft+ as an active subscription

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

To activate your subscription on Xbox, you’ll need to link the Microsoft account you use for Xbox gaming to your Ubisoft account used for the purchase of Ubisoft+.

If your Microsoft account was previously linked to another Ubisoft account, you must first unlink it in your Ubisoft subscription account management. Afterward, you must relink the Ubisoft account used for the purchase of Ubisoft+ to ensure smooth access to your subscription on Xbox.

Managing or canceling your subscription must be done on the platform where you purchased it.

Yes but then it wont recognize as being an active membership and i cant play the games. Being going through this with Ubisoft for months and they are no help at all. Was trying to sign up directly through the xbox to see if it could work as a work around.

After being fixed for 4 months this problem has come back - Ubisoft Connect is once again starting when the Xbox app is launched

There is now a setting in the Xbox app to disable the Ubisoft Connect PC extension - which stops this happening - OK as long as youre not trying to access Ubisoft games as part of a Game Pass subscription

Sometimes the console needs a kick in the pants to recognize the change in subscription, so first verify that your sub is active at
account.microsoft.com
under Services & Subscriptions to verify it lists Gold as active.

If it is listed as active, then try
removing, and re-adding yourprofile to the console to get it to recognize the latest subscription status,.
