    Xbox Stereo hedset repair


    Hi

    I want to repair the xbox sterio headset jack but need some assistance with the wiring.

    The headset has a green sleeve around the wires and the wireing is differant from the previous headset with a black sleeve

    In the sleeve there is a green wire, a red wire, a grey wire with copper wounded around it and a blue striped copper wire.

    Unfortunately I can not see the connection point on the existing jack as it is encased in a resin.

    Can anyone please help with which of the copper wires goes with what colour wire?

    Just a heads up that we do not provide steps on how to repair a headset since we only provide basic troubleshooting steps to try and fix the device. If you need to have this repaired most especially the parts inside, it would be best to take it to a technician instead. I suggest taking it to a local computer store to have better options.

    It seems that there is no SN regarding the Xbox One Stereo headset, so it will be difficult to order a repair.
