    Xbox Stereo Headset Problems


    Hello. I have been having problems for the last couple weeks with the Xbox Stereo Headphones in Party Chat, not game chat. I can hear my friends and other people in games, but cannot talk. I have tried to hard restart my console, set the start-up power to
    energy saving, and even trying to use different controllers with the headphones. If anyone has a good Idea of what to do, please ask me. I have no Kinect, and I don't have a warranty (I think) on the console, even though I bought it from Target in December
    of 2014. Hope Microsoft will finally help people with this problem and not ignore it.

    We have two of the
    Xbox Stereo Headset     with Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter, and both sets have worked well with no problems for sometime now. And I have used the
    adapter with non-Microsoft headset with no issues. So, given that you say your "3.5 mm cabled headset " works directly connected to the controller, then I regret to say it would seem that the fault lies with the adapter itself and may need to be replace.

    Xbox One mic stopped working

    Its just problems with XBOX live not your mic, I have the new stereo headset and the original headset and both I can't hear people talking.

    Controller is Updated    . Also, what headset is it that you are using for the console? Would these be third party headsets or are they the Xbox Stereo Headset.
