Xbox Star percentage dropped

Hi, I am a Xbox Rewards Member. I am currently on my way to my 5 star. As of the middle of January 2017 I was at 51% to the next level, as I bought some games in the second week of January. But now my percent has dropped down to 13%. Why has it dropped down?.

Star Rank Just dropped an entire tier

Hello, My star Rank just dropped from 3 and a high percentage of the way to 4, down to 2 and a lower percentage. Can someone explain/assist? This just happened and is long after the Year end change.

We do not see you ever having a 3 star MyVIP rank. We have also checked your purchase history against your current progress and can confirm that your 72% progress towards MyVIP rank 3 currently being displayed is accurate.

We do not see purchases adding up to 51% to the five star level. That level requires a minimum spend of 1200 GBP. So far in January you have:

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Bundle - 29.24

Catherine - 14.99

Ezio Collection - 26.79

The Walking Dead - 24.99

The Handsome Collection - 14.85

Dead Rising 4 Deluxe - 43.54

Song of the Deep - 6

Heavy Damage Pack - 1.99

This adds up to 176.37 GBP. 176.37/1200=.14 or 14%. You can see your purchase history from the commerce page at (Sign in to your Microsoft account).

Un-install the game and do a power cycle then try the download again. Hopefully this will resolve the issue.

Which as of now still doesn't have a solution, beyond that its getting investigated

We recalibrate MyVIP on a yearly basis. However, in September 2015 we received a lot of feedback from members to make some changes to the way MyVIP works. We gave everyone four extra months to boost their MyVIP Star Rank for 2017, and will also be recalibrating
your annual spending by the calendar year from now on to make it easier to track. Your total eligible spending from September 2015 - December 2016 meant that you were placed at the four star level, and then had your progress calibrated to the default value.

Ranks reset each year, normally on September 1, but they extended it to reset on January 1 this year.
