Xbox spamming me with old invites over and over

We're sorry to hear that you are having issues with the Xbox Console repeatedly prompting you with game invites. Let us check on this together so you will get back to gaming.

As per your description, you have been to troubleshoot this and it is still not resolve. To better isolate your issue, we will be asking for few things with provide you with the steps to perform.

We would like to ask if you can still remember if this happens after an update or installing a game?

May we know if you have tried complete power cycle to the console and network?

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
   
2. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.
   
   If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down. Important If your console is in instant-on power mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Instant-on mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.
   
3. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
   
4. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
   
   Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
   
5. Plug the console power cable back in.
   
6. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.
   

May we know if the console is up-to-date?

May we know if your Xbox networking showing no error message or code and is connected fine?

To get to the Network screen:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
   
2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
   

Have you tried play offline and online on your console to test if the game invites will prompt repeatedly?

1. Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.
   
2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
   
3. Select Go offline.
   

To go back online, repeat the first three steps, and in step 4 choose Go online.

May we know if your console is set up on correct country/region?

1. On your console, go to Settings, and then select System.
   
2. Select Console Settings > Language and Locale > Locale.
   
3. Select the locale that you want to use.

Do people rally have no lives that they create a bunch of free accounts for the sole purpose of spam? Man they are a waste of humanity. Getting tired of these spam messages. I have reported and blocked...but I keep getting them because they are new free
accounts. Thank God I read that Microsoft is working on this.

Best bet for now is to report the messages that you receive. Then block the user.

it, hitting A or Menu, and selecting Report. This will give you the Message option for the reporting system.
