"Xbox Social" in Xbox Game Bar showing no friends, parties broken

Alright, so this issue just happened today. This morning it was fine, but now it is completely broken. When I try to create a party, I can see myself in it, but with no name or profile picture. When I head over to the Xbox App, it shows that everyone is offline, and most of the LIVE features are broken there as well. On XBOX live on the Xbox Social Widget, it says, "We can't show your friends here. Try again in a little bit." I tried updating both the XBOX Game Bar and App, reinstalling them, restarting my PC, repairing them, resetting them, fidgeting around with my XBOX privacy settngs, and nothing has worked so far. I am connected to Wi-Fi and still nothing is happening. What could I do to fix the issue?

The Companion App isn't the best tool to use to join or make parties with other PC and Xbox users now.

You should try using Game Bar instead. Just press the Windows key and tap G to access the Game Bar.

Yes, the feature has been moved to the game bar.

To access Xbox Game Bar press Windows Key + G or the Xbox button if using an Xbox Controller.

If you see the "Xbox Social" overlay you can view, accept and decline party invites you can also manage the party if you are in one.

If you do not see the "Xbox Social Overlay" :

1) look for the "friends' icon" on the top menu then press it

If you do not see the "friends' icon"

1) press the menu button next to the time

2) press the "star" button next to "Xbox Social"

3)click on the friends' icon on the top menu.

I think the party invite notification was removed and put on the Xbox Game bar instead, if you launch the game bar by pressing windows key and g, then goto settings - social, you should find an option to turn on notification for invites to party.
