    Xbox Social in the Xbox Game Bar Keeps Crashing


    I've been having an issue where no matter what I do my xbox social widget says "! Something went wrong with this widget and than crashes my vc. I play on a PC joining the xbox social of my friends that are all on xbox. This problem only started appearing about 3 days ago when we started playing marvel rivals together. Any chance that may be the issue? I've never had thins problem until now.

    Hi,

    The Companion App isn't the best tool to use to join or make parties with other PC and Xbox users now.

    You should try using Game Bar instead. Just press the Windows key and tap G to access the Game Bar.

    You may need to update it, check for updates using the Microsoft Store app, once it's updated everything, then all the options should be there.
