Xbox SmartGlass service error

Spoke to support agent, investigating further into the issue I have been having with the Xbox 360 SmartGlass app. We have troubleshooted every which way. From router restarts to deleting the app. It resumes the same message repeatedly on both my iPad Air
2 and my IPhone 5SE. Has worked wonderfully for a while. But I now receive a message on the app that states "service can not be reached, try again later". I have researched amd read that if you do an update on a phone it could have fault you effects. I have
not somebody any updates on either device. I have made sure that both the xbox and devices are connected to the same network and I am using the same xbox live account information. I have also used my hotspot and that did not take either. They are investigating
further! Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!

Dance Central 3: SmartGlass not Working

Also, when I try to use the Dance Central 3 DJ SmartGlass experience using the Xbox 360 SmartGlass app for Android, I get an error: "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable"

Could this be related to the current Xbox Live service alert for streaming video? Any other suggestions?
