xbox smartglass fable anniversary

Is there an update on this?

 

It seems to be a problem with communication between the SmartGlass application and Microsoft's Azure service getting redirected somehow. If Microsoft takes this long to figure their stuff out why would I even consider using it in my line of business.

 

Kindle Fire HD 8 (5th generation) and Nokia Lumia 635 running Windows 8.1, both apps work fine otherwise, but even after restarting and reinstalling, neither work! Weirdly i still got the achievement for using Smartglass within a minute of the game beginning...


I wonder whether it works for anyone at the moment?

I've bookmarked this page for updates (seven months - really??) but I'm really sad that I can't use my Windows phone for something Microsoft based, especially since all the fun stuff is usually only available for Android and iOS users

 

Just tried Windows 10 laptop, Windows 10 PC, iPhone, Samsung phone (not sure our the models of the latter two as they weren't mine, but I can find out) - SIX mediums for Smartglass and not a single one ran Fable Anniversary, but otherwise were totally fine.

I'm more and more convinced that this is a fault that's affecting all users.

I'm also really sad that its been over two months since any word from Microsoft. Bottom line is that I'm not able to use a feature on a game I've paid for, that was one of the reasons I bought this version of the game.

I work in Complaints, so I'm loathe to make one myself, but nothing is happening here - no updates at all - and the fault has been known for at last seven months (although looking online I think it's been a problem for a lot longer).

 

Any progress on this. Why is this not working, since it did work. I am trying to use the smart glass functionality for fable anniversary. It still does not work
