    Xbox shutting down when using transfer


    Trying to batch transfer games from my 2tb to my new 6tb hard drive, when my Xbox is scanning the hard drive my Xbox shuts down.

    Xbox live ending on 360 in 2016?

    Of course the 360 servers are used for backwards compatibility,not sure why you think they aren't.

    Halo 2 used to run on the original xbox servers so of course the online shut down when live shut down for the original xbox.

    The USB drive is a Centon DataStick Sport 8Gb. This drive has served me well for a year or so now, pushing videos back and forth to my PS3 and such. It was not flashing when I removed it from the XBox. I powered down the console, let it completely wind down,
    and ALL lights were off. All I did was went in to Storage, and did the Data Transfer utility (from what I gather, the same utility used when transferring via the HDD transfer cable), which I now know will delete data from the HDD once it successfully places
    it to your selected target storage. When I finished, i exited out of the menus back to the dashboard, and shut down the console.

    you can't transfer anything, the terms of accounts if it is not used for a period of 2years then will be closed, if the account gets shut down then the gamertag may become available in the future or may not.

    Ebay don`t allow sales by electronic transfer,thats why they are stopping them.

    Either an external HDD always disconnects when you shut down Xbox. A, or in the power mode setting, shut down the storage.
