Xbox shuts off after two years of owning it

I have owned my new xbox one x for less than two years. Days ago i started having problems with it not staying on and turning off randomly. Called support went through all of the troubleshooting for nothing to work. Have been told its 250 dollars for a
repair. Thats half of the price i paid for it less than two years ago. I have owned two of their elite controllers for them to also break on me and i bit my tongue cause out of warranty of course. Spent thousands through the apps and games for half working
products. This is ridiculous all of this money i have spent over the years through these companies to one day need help and be told to fork over more money for products that go bad and never are fully working anyways. I am not the only one who has had these
problems and its not just an xbox issues it is microsoft in general and computers and hardware and software problems. When it happens to you just know microsoft will not give their time to help you when you spend money with their company. They will simply
say thanks and send you on your way so you can buy more of their half done products. Goodluck to you all.

1 year warranty is the standard for all electronics, it's somewhat of an agreement between the manufacturers and the vendors so vendors can sell extended warranties since the markup on the electronic itself is usually not much.

What does it cost to send it in just for them to clean it?

I recommend request an order for microsoft to have it cleaned

Yea i guess i just cant justify spending another 500 on an xbox every two years. just to accept it will break within two years 250 for a repair seems outrageous when all that will be done is they send you an already repaired xbox that may or may not do
the same thing again in such a short time

hello, from my point of view a new xbox would be better, because despite sending it to technical support, it will already start giving you problems, that's why I recommend buying a new one if there is the possibility
