    Xbox shuts down with Minecraft beta


    I made a post a few months ago about this problem but it continues to be on my Xbox One X. I participate in the Minecraft beta and every time I start it my Xbox turns off completely. How much else has this problem?

    it takes a lot of time to sign in into minecraft with microsoft and a green screen comes up......

    The minecraft servers were shut down.

    call me crazy but now that the beta is over and the new dashboard has been released wouldn't the beta forums be shut down or locked out?

    The Xbox (Beta) app recently got updated out of Beta. Try going to the Microsoft Store app to download Minecraft and while you're there, click on the top right icon (the one with the Down Arrow) or the "..." and click on "Downloads and Updates".

    Also, the Xbox (Beta) app currently only shows Game Pass games. Minecraft PC unfortunately is not on Game Pass.

    Hi!

    Try these steps to leave Minecraft Beta:

    1. Open the Xbox Insider Hub app and unenroll from the beta.
    2. Uninstall Minecraft.
    3. Power cycle Xbox console by holding down the power button until the console turns off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the console back on.
    4. Reinstall Minecraft from the Ready to Install section of Games & Apps.
