  2. Power and Eject Buttons Not Working

Something about the touch sensor, maybe? In any case, I can't eject or turn off/on the console with those buttons. Can obviously turn the 'bone on with the controller, so it's mainly an issue for ejecting, though power cycling wouldn't be doable, either.

MY XBOXONE is blank screen with TV

Hi, try this please. Power the console off using the xbox button on the console, hold the button for 10 seconds when you do this. Then press and hold the eject button on the console, press and hold the xbox button on the console, keep your fingers on both
buttons for maybe 10 seconds or more. Does this get your display working again?

If not, power the console off and remove the power cable, wait two minutes and reconnect the power cable and then try holding eject and the xbox button.

Take a look at this Xbox Support article for the steps to take when your Xbox is abruptly shutting itself off: Troubleshoot Xbox One unexpectedly turning off

Typically, this issue points either to the console overheating (from poor ventilation or internal defect), or a power supply defect.

If you are still unable to get the Xbox working, then the next solution is to send it in for repair. Start that process here: https://devicesupport.microsoft.com

Launch xbox one S just died... what to do?

    Hey there Shermas.

Let's have you start out by resetting your display by powering off your Xbox One completely (hold power button for 8-10 seconds until it shuts off completely). Once your Xbox One is off, hold down the power and eject button until you hear a second beep.

I tried this and nothing happened.. Does it matter that my system isn't sending a video signal anymore? The white power button lights up, but the HDMI input source is now staying dark.
Ok you are supposes to hold the bind button and the eject button at the same time. The bind button is below the power button. It worked once, but would not reset to factory defaults and now wont reset again.

Here is the Reset Power Supply troubleshooting page. Give these steps a shot and hopefully that fixes your issue.

Power and eject buttons not working

    Hello Chuck,

We understand that your console isn't allowing you to press the power button on the console itself to turn it on/off.

Our recommendation here is to follow our guide on our website for turning the Xbox One off through the menu:

    From settings:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings > Power & startup >
      Turn off or restart.
    3. Choose Full shutdown or Restart now.

After choosing to shut down the console, be sure to also unplug the console and leave it unplugged for 2 minutes.

After doing this process, only use the console to attempt powering it on.

Try this and let us know if this works.

    Best wishes!
