    My Xbox is in instant-on mode. In the "Known Issues" part of the notes for updates it says this happens when you're on the energy saver mode and could take up to a minute to connect or something.

    I continuously press the "Connect to Xbox live" square but most times, nothing happens. When something finally does happen, it takes for ever to do the simplest things like open something. When I press the home button, I can't scroll to the sides to go to different tabs so I can't get to settings. When the guide is pulled up none of the buttons work except for the home button.

    The workaround I've found with getting to settings is to press Y and search for network settings.

    So if you are not really connected how do you know that you are not? What is the error if any or what happens when you think you are connected?
    1. I'm not connected b/c when i login in it shows connect to xbox live correct so i go to network settings test my network connection showing that I'm connected.

    2. The error is not connecting to xbox live and when I'm connected it shows the store and everything else

    + when i try to connect on xbox live while already connected offline with my account," xbox tells me i need a xbox live account to continue " and propose me to either : SIGN UP / SIGN IN / NO THANKS.

    SIGN UP : simply doesn't work... when i press A on it, nothing happens, it make a little noise and thats it, even if i'm connected to internet

    SIGN IN : when i click it, it shows that i'm already signed in with my account, and the only option are to sign out or cancel. no of those are what i want.
