    You can earn points by searching with Bing daily, doing some polls and quizzes they have, etc. They also have an app on the console so you can earn points through that by clicking on specific items and doing specific weekly tasks. If you have Game Pass you
    can also earn points through the Game Pass app by playing games. The points can be used to redeem Gold, Xbox gift cards, and gift cards to other places as well.

    You have to pay to play online on PS4 as well with the exception of a few games. PS previously had free online on PS3 and learned from that mistake (they used to have a ton of server issues). You can also earn free Gold through Microsoft Rewards so you
    technically don't have to pay for it. I haven't paid for Gold since 2010.

    No you noobs, free Xbox live year around. Where I can play online with my friends without paying for the service. I believe this service should be free like the ps3. I shouldn't have to pay for crappy service.
