Xbox Setup Issues after Factory Reset

   1. Scroll down and look at the lower left side if you can see the page matches the country/region you are currently located.
      
   2. If not, please select the country/region it is showing and select the correct one among the list.
      
   3. Make sure to use to check the available contact times of the support.
      
   4. Select the "Contact Us" button
      
   5. Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.
      
   6. The next window will provide you with support articles based on your request and we recommend reviewing the relevant articles before selecting the "See contact options" button.
      
   7. On the final window, you will be presented with multiple options. We suggest selecting either the "Chat online" or the "Request a call" options to speak with someone. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible.
      
   8. If you cannot get connected to the support, please use the Virtual Agent and enter this exact phrase, "Talk to an agent".

Same error code after factory reset on the unpdate page on setup.

Hi there!

Yes, doing a factory reset remove your accounts & settings and home Xbox associations also known as game sharing. You will have to manually add your accounts and setup home Xbox again after a factory reset.

Thank you for your response.

I am unable to test the system on another network, but did not have any issues connecting to the internet before/after the soft factory reset.

After the reset and going through setup I received the following error when my console tried to setup Live.

"Try again in a while

Sorry, looks like our service isn't working right. To check Xbox Live status, go to https://support.xbox.com"

Sounds like the age is finally getting to it.

If the other Xbox is setup the same way with no issues.

If a power cycle or hard reset doesn't fix it, you may need to factory reset it.

If that doesn't work, its the Xbox.
