    Xbox services seems to be not working properly, making Xbox App and Minecraft Launcher...


    When I upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10 everything was working fine. Until few weeks later, I noticed the Xbox services and Xbox App were missing!

    I did reinstall them from the Microsoft Store, but when I came to sign into the Xbox App, I noticed the Sign in window flashes for infinite time after successfully signing in to my account, and it only stops after navigating through different areas in the Xbox App. However. it pop-ups again and continue to flash for infinite times!

    • And because of this issue:
    1. Minecraft Launcher always show this error: "oh no something went wrong, and we couldn't connect to the Minecraft services".
    2. Minecraft Launcher want me to sign in every time I open it.
    3. I can play Minecraft Windows 10 Edition and update it from the Microsoft Store but not from the launcher itself.
    4. When I use my Xbox Account to sign into Minecraft it successfully signs in and shows my gamertag but it won't load my game save like: current skins, in game purchase, realms, etc..., Also: unable to join realms, servers, friends world because they don't even show up.
    • What I have tried:
    1. Reinstalled Xbox App, Xbox services, Minecraft Launcher, Minecraft Windows 10 Edition.
    2. Ran different commands like:
      1. Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
      2. start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
    And many more....

    3. Watched YouTube solutions. None Worked.

    I have tried different solutions, but I can't mention all of them here.

    I hope that I have provided enough info to help me through out this problem!

    Sorry for not replying early. I thought no one will reply anyway.

    I solved the issue by formatting the PC using Keep my files option. It solved my issue.

    At the end maybe it was something wrong within xbox files or packages or dlls and 100% it was because of the Windows 11 update. Formatting the PC reinstalled everything including any missing windows files.

    Based on your description, you have tried to troubleshoot your issue however it only persists. Please see the suggested troubleshooting steps below:

    1. Please run a troubleshooter for Windows update, see guide: Windows Update Troubleshooter.
    2. Update PC including Optional Updates. Please use this link as guide - Update Windows.
    3. Restart device and disable any antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall, proxy and PC Optimizer.
    4. See if issue persist. then please proceed to next step.
    5. We would like to suggest you to try to do In-place upgrade to make sure the issue you were having is not related to the recent upgrade and if it is related then this troubleshooting will fix it.
      • Please go to this link: Download Windows 11.
      • Next, please read the instruction before you proceed. For reference, kindly look for at the screenshot below.
