Xbox SeriesS controller: Stick Drift

My controller that was purchased as part of my Series S, has Stick drift on the right thumbstick. (It states the controller is out of warranty as of May, it's a 1 year warranty, despite being purchased as part of my Series S in November 2021)

I've been unable to contact support for several days now and the virtual agent's link to initiate a replacement order just gets an error 404. I've tried to request a call multiple times a day for the past few days and I only get errors too. I can't play anything without aiming at the sky constantly.

You can confirm by trying to trigger your guarantee through the website.

And looking for the information in the warranty manual that comes with your console.

Click on this link, if your console appears in your account click on it or register it.

After clicking on it, go to ''online service''. In the category put ''accessories'' and next to ''standard control'' and fill in the form with your data.

In the "my devices" section it says it has a 1 year warranty, which would therefore end in November. I've used the controller's serial number to confirm this, as well as the virtual agent trying to send me a link to replace the controller.

That is strange. I've only ever had stick drift on my old 360 controllers. I don't know if the standard Xbox one controllers have it, but the Xbox Elite controller sticks can be adjusted to have dead zones to avoid drift. Check in the Xbox Accessories
app if you can adjust it for normal controllers.

Have my elite controller set up and still drifts. Can't do standard controller. Did notice they drift worse on any COD.
