Xbox Series XS controller causing double inputs and right stick drift for no reason.

It started about a week ago, my 1 year-old xbox series XS controller is causing me to slowly look upwards in all my games. Also, lots of the time, single button presses are registered as a several, rapid-fire button presses. No, I haven't dropped it. Yes, it's really clean, (I'm the only one who uses this controller and all the buttons are smooth to interact with). Seems like there was an update or something that I wasn't aware of, and it came with some bugs. DO NOT ASK ME TO PERFORM A POWER CYCLE ON MY XBOX, I HAVE ALREADY DONE SO, plus the controller performs the same on my old Xbox One S.

Proof that it's a bug and not a messed up right stick:

For example, when I spawn into a game, my view immediately starts creeping upwards. If I interrupt the motion by moving sideways, it cancels the upward motion, but it will return to moving upward after a second. IF THIS WERE JUST AN ISSUE WITH THE RIGHT STICK, MY MOVING SIDEWAYS WOULD NOT CANCEL THE UPWARD MOTION, IT WOULD JOIN IT AND RESULT IN A DIAGONAL MOTION. On top of that, I've had multiple Xbox 360 controllers get messed up joysticks, so I know what it looks/feels like when something's broken.

Anyone else getting this bug?

Ah... well. Thanks for your time. My last question for you is if you know of others who have had this issue, and if there is some other controller I should invest in to last longer than a year of gaming. I technically used my mouse more than my controller this year, so its really confusing.

That's because your warranty has expired. You need to use the last link and request a paid option. Check the cost of this for your region before you proceed

Thanks again, Jesse. Unfortunately, when I try to issue a service request, I reach this message "There are no service options available. For further assistance, contact us." Am I doing this right? Sorry if I should be following this differently.

I haven't seen any issue like this related to a recent firmware update. If you have a different controller and that works good, it only points to the other one being defective. You can still send it to Microsoft for repair/replacement following the last link I sent above.
