    Does anyone know if the Xbox one or the Xbox series X supports Wpa2? I’m trying to connect to my universities wifi(eduroam) but it won’t let me connect (I have just a regular xbox one) was wondering if anyone knows any workarounds that don’t involve data or if the series X supports Wpa2

    Wireless Repeaters/Range Extenders: Switched to EERO networking and now no Wireless.

    So I'm not able to connect to my wifi at all! The Eero uses WPA2 PSK AES and the XBox One X only supports WPA/WPA2 (personal), and WEP. I'm hoping this can be updated soon, but in the meantime, I need to figure out how to get a wired connection to my console...

    Eero has said they won't support the change to the protocol either...

    Greetings CaptainMauZer!

    There is no current documentation that the Xbox One support WPA-enterpise or WPA2-enterprise (802.1x) connectivity.

    The workaround (as for the Xbox 360) is to connect your console (wired) with a computer. Share the computer's Internet connection and use your computer's MAC address as your console's alternative MAC address.

    Im trying to configure my Xbox1 to:

    Network Name: eduroam

    Security type: WPA2-Enterprise

    Encryption: AES

    EAP type: PEAP MS-CHAPv2

    it detects my device as windows 10, but whenever I click download, I don't have anything pop up in order to run the application. What do i Do?

    No worries, the error usually means that your Xbox Series X does not support the WIFI security protocol your router is using.

    Your Xbox supports WPA2 and WPA3. If your router is set to WEP or a mixed mode that isn’t compatible, your console won’t connect.

    Please try these steps:

    1) Access your router settings from your phone or PC.

    2) Change the Wi-Fi security type to WPA2 or WPA3

    3) Restart your router and Xbox.

    Okay, so we have 2 networks eduroam, which is the main student, and UMass, which you log into (guests can use it to) and Im still having problems with eduroam but it's working if I log into the UMass network so I'll called this half fixed. It works so that's
