Xbox series X won't connect to tv and turns off after 30 seconds?

My Xbox series X, that I've had without issue for a few months, won't connect to the tv anymore and it turns off after around 30 seconds. The fan doesn't seem to be spinning correctly either- it stops spinning after 10 seconds or so. And neither the wired or wireless control are connecting anymore, although I originally turned it on with the wired controller when this issue first started.

The hdmi cable and the tv don't seem to be the problem, as the work just fine with everything else.

I've removed the game from the xbox and tried pressing the power button for 10 seconds. nothing changed. I've tried unplugging everything and leaving it, but that doesn't seem to have done anything either?

Any other recommendations or should I try taking it to an expert?

    :)

Microsoft does not authorize self-repair instructions in this forum, as only Microsoft technicians are authorized to do so, and as your xbox is shutting down there are no procedures to be done.

    good evening

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble viewing your Xbox Series X on your TV. Here are some things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

Check the HDMI connection: Make sure the HDMI cable is properly connected to the Xbox Series X and the TV. Check the HDMI cable or HDMI ports on your devices for visible damage.

Check TV input: Make sure your TV is set to the correct input for the HDMI port your Xbox Series X is connected to.

Restart Xbox Series X: Try restarting your Xbox Series X by holding down the power button for 10 seconds until it turns off, then unplug it and wait a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.

    Reset display settings:

If there is a disc in the console, eject it.

On your console, press and hold the Xbox  button for 10 seconds to turn it off.

Press and hold the Xbox  button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear a beep immediately and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash before the second beep. Don't let go until you hear the second beep or see the console boot into low-resolution mode (the Xbox boot screen will appear slightly pixelated).

Note If you have an Xbox Series S or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, you will need to press and hold both the Xbox  button and the Pair button as your console does not have an Eject button.

Check for updates: Make sure you have the latest update for your Xbox Series X installed. Updates can sometimes fix display issues.

    Hope these suggestions help!

    good evening

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Xbox Series X turning off after a short time of gameplay. There could be a few different issues causing this problem.

Make sure that your Xbox is properly ventilated. The Xbox Series X can get quite hot during gameplay, and if it doesn't have enough airflow, it could shut down to prevent overheating. Check that there is nothing blocking the vents on the console and that the room it is in is well-ventilated.

Check the power supply. Make sure that the power supply is properly connected to both the wall outlet and the Xbox, and that the outlet is functioning properly. You might also try using a different outlet or power strip to see if that makes a difference.

Update the Xbox software. Sometimes software updates can fix bugs or other issues that might be causing problems with your console. To check for updates, go to the "Settings" menu, then select "System," then "console info & updates," and then select "check for updates."

Reset the Xbox. If none of these suggestions help, you could try resetting the Xbox to see if that resolves the issue. To reset the Xbox, go to the "Settings" menu, then select "System," then "console info & updates," and then select "reset console."
