Xbox Series X won’t connect to controller

I cannot connect my controller to a console. The sync button on the Series X won’t work, I’ve also tried a wired controller and that doesn’t work either. Already tried to hard reset each way with holding down power button and then unplugging with 0 results. Any fix for this?

    :)

Is Microsoft going to make a mic and camera on the next system?

Given that connect was not that much of a success it probably won’t have one but they haven’t said anything if you will be able to use an Xbox one connect on Xbox series X so hopefully you can

In that case, I'm afraid that we will have to think about requesting a repair of the console, to do this you can follow these steps:

Visit the Xbox support site: Go to the Xbox support site in your web browser. You can find it at the following address: https://support.xbox.com/

Select "Repair and Warranty": On the support site, look for the "Repair and Warranty" section or a similar option. It can be located in the main menu of the site or in the technical support section.

Select your console: Within the "Repair and warranty" section, choose your specific Xbox console model. For example, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, etc.

Choose the repair option: Once you have selected your console, look for the option that allows you to request a repair. There may be different options available, such as "Repair Now" or "Request Repair".

Sign in to your Microsoft account: To continue with the repair request, you may need to sign in with your Microsoft account associated with your Xbox console. Provide your login credentials when prompted.

Complete the request form: Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the repair request form. You may be asked to provide details about the issue you are experiencing with your console.

Submit the request: Once you have completed the form, review the information provided and submit the repair request.

    I hope this helps.

Xbox Series X won’t connect to controller

Hello, My name is David. I am an independent advisor, happy to help you today.

Check the batteries: If you are using wireless controllers, make sure the batteries are inserted correctly and have enough charge. If the batteries are low, try replacing them with new ones or connect the controller to the console using a USB cable.

Try a different USB cable: If you are using a wired controller, and it won't connect, the problem could be with the USB cable. Try using a different USB cable to connect the controller to the console.

Power cycle your console: Perform a full power cycle of your Xbox Series X console. To do this, press and hold the power button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it turns off completely. Unplug the power cord from the console and wait a minute or two. Then, plug the power cord back in and turn on the console.

Clear the console cache: Clearing the cache on your Xbox Series X can help resolve connectivity issues. To do this, turn off your console, unplug the power cord, and wait about 10 seconds. Plug the power cord back in, turn on the console, and try connecting the controller again.

Try a different controller: If you have access to another controller, try connecting it to the console to see if it works. This can help determine if the problem is with the controller or the console.

Update controller firmware: Make sure your controller firmware is up-to-date. You can do this by connecting the controller to the console with a USB cable and checking for updates in the Xbox Accessories app.

If none of the above works then we will have to perform a factory reset on the console with a USB Flash drive to see if that solves the problem. If you want to do it here, I will leave you the link with the steps: support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/reset-console-to-factory-defaults

If the problem persists, let me know so I can find another solution.
    Best regards.
