Xbox Series X won’t connect to Comcast Router?

Given that connect was not that much of a success it probably won’t have one but they haven’t said anything if you will be able to use an Xbox one connect on Xbox series X so hopefully you can

I’m having the same issue. I got a series X about 2 weeks ago and it won’t stay connected to WiFi. It usually will only hold connection for a few minutes, anywhere from 2-20 maybe? A couple times it has maintained connection for multiple hours though that is very rare. It sits next to my Xbox One X and a few feet from my PS5, all of which connect to the same WiFi network without issue. Due to location of the router, a hardwire connection isn’t possible.

My Xbox X series just said update an I pressed update console but it won’t update

I called Xbox Live support and they said the reason I could not connect to Xbox live multiplayer on titanfall was due to the technicolor router we have although we recieve the internet clearly otherwise.

They recommended having comcast switch us to an SMC router. I called

Comcast support and they had me unplug the xbox one and the pinged the router and checked it through online support and after pluggin in the x box and powering it up we have access to online multiplayer gaming through titanfall now. Not sure who is right
but we will see if this fix holds up.

Recently got a Series X. It is set up with an ethernet cable directly into the router.

When I switch the xbox on and login to my account the xbox does not connect to the internet. I cannot launch a game.

I can solve the problem by restarting the xbox though I may need to do this several times before it connects to the internet via the ethernet and allows me to launch a game.

I have not changed any internet settings since taking the xbox out of the box.

Any suggestions? Is this a known issue?

This has been an issue for me since launch. I have 3 series x. All three do it. I have bought new routers, had comcast ship me a new fiber business class modem, bought new cables, etc. I have come to the conclusion that it is a microsoft issue and they are just far to lazy to fix this.
